 Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This year had some of the of the most consistent year in music in recent years! Lots of albums and singles throughout the year and some of the biggest releases in recent years as well! Here are the Top 10 Best Songs of 2021.  10. "Misfit" by April Keez is the first single off of her album "Mountainview" it started off the best albums list and the year so this song will start off the Top 10 Songs list. It's catchy, poppy, and a little bit of edginess!    9. "EPMD 2" by Nas feat. EPMD & Eminem has some of bed rap I've heard in a while. Nas is one of my favorite rappers and his collaborations with EPMD are always awesome!  Welcome back to Thrak Attack, what's your adventure? The pandemic hit a lot of people a lot of different ways and I knew this year would bring a lot of great music! But I did not expect this year to be this good of a year for music! This has been the hardest list to make so far and I had to kick off some heavy hitters like Foo Fighters, Coldplay, and Adele! So let's get to it! Here are the Top 10 Albums of 2021! 10. "Mountainview" by April Keez was the first album to be released in 2021 that I listened to and is still on the list. Now I am a little biased because I know April and she's a very dear friend but it does not discredit how great this album is! The songwriting and lyrics she has on this album are top notch!  Welcome back to Thrak Attack! I have traveled far and wide this January to find many of adventures in many strange lands. There was a total of 13 adventures and different dimensions I traveled to this January which is a fantastic showing for a usually bland month! I will be reviewing 10 of these encounters in a Top 10 of January list! The adventures that did not make the cut were Iris Fall for Nintendo Switch, "Songs for the Drunk and Brokenhearted" by Passenger, and "Unbothered" by Lil Skies. I hope you enjoy the adventures as much as I did so let's get started! 10. Nuts is a fun game about observing a photographing squirrels. It's a less interesting version of Pokemon snap but the art style, chill paced game play, and gameplay loop was just darling. Unfortunately I played this game on Apple Arcade on my iPad which did not benefit the controls at all. This year brought us a ton of music and great albums but sometimes a specific song transcends the album that it's on and sometimes artists release singles. So this is the list celebrating those gems on mediocre albums and singles artists have released throughout the year! Top 10 Songs of 2020 10. "When You Get That Feeling" by Nate Bo is a debut song from one of my good friends. It's a solid jam with an R&B vibe and wicked vibraphone solo. I used to play music with Nate in college and I'm glad to see him with a successful first song! I can't wait to see what's next for Nate in his career! 9.
