S3 Finale: Top 10 Songs of 2021

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This year had some of the of the most consistent year in music in recent years! Lots of albums and singles throughout the year and some of the biggest releases in recent years as well! Here are the Top 10 Best Songs of 2021.

10. "Misfit" by April Keez is the first single off of her album "Mountainview" it started off the best albums list and the year so this song will start off the Top 10 Songs list. It's catchy, poppy, and a little bit of edginess!

9. "EPMD 2" by Nas feat. EPMD & Eminem has some of bed rap I've heard in a while. Nas is one of my favorite rappers and his collaborations with EPMD are always awesome! This time Eminem shares with us one of my favorite rap verses ever with one of the most unique yet repetitive flows I've ever heard.Nas - EPMD 2 feat. Eminem & EPMD (Official Audio) - YouTube

8. "Making a Fire" by Foo Fighters is the best song off of their disco album with a fantastic groove and a full sound this song always made me miss the skip button. It's the best song on the album and is the first song on the album that introduces you to the new sound of the Foo's keeping the feel of the band alive! Foo Fighters - Making A Fire (Mark Ronson Re-Version (Audio)) - YouTube

7. "The Tradition" by Halsey is not a song I expected to make it onto the list. The song does not feel like the usual pop hit I expected from the artist as it starts out with the eerie piano part. The song reminds me of Joffrey and Sansa's relationship from A Song of Ice and Fire. Halsey – The Tradition Lyrics | Genius Lyrics

6. "All Eyes On Me" by Bo Burnum is a great song and really encapsulates the essence of "Inside". The song was so good that Scary Pockets did their own version mashed up with "Under Pressure" which is not as good as a version. The song is catchy, dark, really sums up the feeling of the whole album!

5. "Taking Me Back" by Jack White is a promotional single for Call of Duty Vanguard. There's the rock version of the song which proves that the electric guitar is not dead, and the "gently" version which proves that bluegrass music is not dead.

4. "Down" by St. Vincent was the first song I heard from her new album "Daddy's Home" and it got me so excited for the album! The sound, the production and the instrumentation of the song really had me excited to see what the rest of the album sounded like. Unfortunately, the rest of the album is not great but this song is amazing!

3. "Never Take It" by 21 Pilots is one of my favorite songs by the band. It's catchy and feels like it has a purpose. It's a rallying call to all of the band's fans not to tolerate poor behavior or stipulations put on yourself and I really enjoy that message!

2. "Jealousy, Jealousy" by Olivia Rodrigo is the best song on one of the biggest albums of the year. Even though a few other songs on the album had more radio play and traction through social media and streaming, this is my favorite. The bass line, groove and harmonies are catchy and it has the perfect balance of styles that really shows the artists range!

1. "Nowhere Generation" by Rise Against is the song that listened to over and over again to catch all of the intriguing lyrics, all of the production aspects, and yelled in my car on the way home from a tough day at work. The band's not done raising hell just yet! And this song is proof! We are a credible threat!

El Deafo

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This week's adventure takes into the world of Cece Bell's graphic novel turned into an Apple TV+ series titled "El Deafo". It is a semi autobiographical tale of her early life and dealing with her struggles of being deaf. The series also features original music from Waxahatchee a very underrated artist in my opinion! So let's get started on our review and head to Virginia to meet Cece Bell in "El Deafo" First off I would like to say the character designs are super cute and enjoyable to watch. I love the design of the rabbits and the clean lines of the show are very pleasant to look at. The tone of the show is very colorful yet muted and pastel which I really enjoy.  Now I won't give away the plot but as you can guess from the title and the poster that this is the story of how Cece lost her hearing. It is great to see a story for children addressing this topic for them to understand the issue

POKEMON SWORD AND SHIELD LEAKS!!!

WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD DO NO READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT SPOILERS! Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This week's adventure is not a traditional adventure. In 2 weeks Pokemon Sword and Shield will be releasing on Nintendo Switch and we got almost every new Pokemon leaked this week! Here's how this will go, I will talk little bit about my thoughts on each line and at the end tell you what my first run through team will be. Let's get started! Grookey, Thwackey, and Rilaboom is the pure grass starter line. it's a great line but I don't like the middle evolution's coloring. It's like green, bright green, and then brown? It just seems odd but I love the idea of the drummer gorilla! Scorbunny, Raboot, and Cinderace is the pure fire starter line. It's not the best line because I don't like the clothes The Pokemon are wearing in their designs. Maybe it'll look better in motions but It's not my favorite. Sobble, Drizzle,

Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? Today's adventure takes us deep into the walls and underneath the ground to the land of Fraggle Rock. But this isn't the first time we've been here, we remember this place from long ago and it's time to go back. A reboot of a series that ended in 1987 is just what Apple TV+ needs right? Let's find out! Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock has 13 episodes in it's first season and it's just as charming as you remember. The muppets look as good as ever, the characters a charming, and the world building in this show is actually quite good! Each episode has a fun adventure with a pretty solid through line of exploring "outer space" which is just our world. There are some pretty great jokes that go along with this too. In the pilot episode one of the characters gets attacked by a dog, when telling his friends about it he says "I was attacked by the most vicious space monster" and it cuts to t
