10. Splatoon 3 for Nintendo Switch is for sure the best multiplayer game of the year but other than the excellent multiplayer action there's not much else to this game.    9. Kirby and the Forgotten Land for the Nintendo Switch was a fun single player game with great platforming and level design. It was short sweet and to the point and that's why it's on this list. 8. Gran Turismo 7  for Playstation 5 is the perfect racing game and it looks spectacular. I was watching a replay of the game and my wife came into the room and said "Are you watching an actual race or is this your game?" Today's adventure takes us to the Hisui region of the Pokemon world which may be Sinnoh in the past or may be Sinnoh in another dimension, the game doesn't entirely clear that up. It's been about two weeks since the game was released and I have sunk about 40 hours into it so it's safe to say I am ready to review it! So let's jump right in! This is not your typical Pokemon game. The basic premise is still there, you are tasked with completing the Pokédex and documenting every Pokemon in the region but this time the game gives you incentive to reach that goal and gives you different tasks and research points to find for each Pokemon.   Welcome back to Thrak Attack, what's your adventure? Today takes us to many distant planets and worlds in a video game of exploring. Astroneer is a game originally released on early access in 2016 and was officially released in 2019 on Windows and the Xbox One and officially released on the Nintendo Switch today. The game focuses on exploration of new worlds and it is a joy! Unfortunately this is a terrible port and I know this because the reviews upon initial release were very positive.  Astroneer on the Nintendo Switch is a port from Windows and Xbox One in 2019. I know that this game works on a controller because it was on the Xbox, but for whatever reason I can't get out of the first section. This year I played games on Nintendo Switch, Apple Arcade, Google Stadia and the Playstation 5! Here are the Top 10 Games of 2021 10. Cyber Shadow was a January release on the Switch and started the year off with a bang! The lack of a story in this game did not bother me because the gameplay felt so good and the controls were so smooth. I loved the challenging bosses, the classic music and the 16 bit feel of this game! 9. FantAsian on Apple Arcade blew me away and changed my perception of what a mobile game could be! I couldn't believe how good this game looked on my iPad Pro and how well the game controlled.  Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This month was a great one for adventures with lots of new music, TV shows, and a few extra things. I did get a Playstation 5, thanks to my amazing fiancé so I have been catching up with some older games (Bugsnax, Sackboy: a Big Adventure, Astro's Playroom, and most importantly Ratchet and Clank: A Rift Apart) so my video game list has been a little short but here are my adventures in September! 10. Skatebird is a wonderfully charming skateboarding game that feels like a hot wheels racing game mixed with Tony Hawk Pro Skater. Unfortunately the controls in this game don't make a whole lot of sense and I the mechanics are too unpolished to make it enjoyable to play. 9. Eastward is the game I began to play, after being disappointed in Skatebird but then I was surprised with my Playstation 5. Some of the best of the year in fact and some that will be making it onto my final "Top 10 of 2021" lists! So is that enough to entice you? Here are the top 10 adventures of August 2021! 10. The Suicide Squad is a weird movie for many reasons. It's weird because it's a completely separate movie from the 2016 Suicide Squad film. It's weird because 3 of the same actors play the same characters in this film as they did in the 2016 version. It's weird because there are multiple D list marvel characters as the leads of this film. It's weird because James Gunn is the director. And it's weird because in the finale they fight and giant starfish.  9. Axiom Verge 2 is a fine game... but it's just not my style. This month took us to some pretty weird places such as the TVA, the mushroom kingdom, a garage for game building, Washington Heights, and the Nowhere Generation. Here is the top 10 adventures we went on in June! 10. The Bad Batch is a solid show on Disney+ that struggles to know who it's audience is. The more I watch the more I dislike it and the more I want to punch Omega right in the teeth. The dark tones clash with the child friendly plots and it just doesn't work after 10 episodes in. 9. "Nowhere Generation" by Rise Against is not a great album... but the title track is killer! You can really tell when listening that song is where most of their energy went for this album. They lyrics are mesmerizing and keep you intrigued and the chorus is a wordy anthem that makes you want to listen again and again. It is contender for song of the year, however the album is not.  8. "Back of My Mind" by H.E.R ....
