 Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? I'm sorry about the lack of reviews but this summer was a doozy with travel and family time so there hasn't been much to review but what I did explore was amazing! I also caught up on 2 movies which will not be reviewed on this list but will be accounted into the end of the year Top 10 lists and those are "Death on the Nile" and "Downton Abbey: A New Era". With all of the fluff out of the way lets get into the reviews! Here are the Top 10 list of Summer 2022! 10. "Meet the Moonlight" by Jack Johnson is a fine album that just doesn't have much going for it. It sounds great and has some good songs but the only one that really stands out to me is the single "One Step Ahead".   Welcome back to Thrak Attack, what's your adventure? Today's adventure takes us on an adventure around the world with an iconic video game character Nathan Drake from the Uncharted video game series. The series is fantastic and proves it by having 4 entries in the main series and some spin offs. Does this film do it justice? We shall find out. First off all, the opening Playstation movie logo got me excited for more Playstation movies! I am currently playing through Horizon Forbidden West and would love to see Alloy on the big screen! But then the movie starts...in a scene that takes place 3/4th's through the movie that immediately cuts back to the beginning of the story. I understand that that is the most famous scene from the Uncharted games and that the director wanted to grab the audience from the start but that was not the way to get my attention. Well we made it through 2020 and one of the best aspects this year was the amount of video games that were released, and the amount of time I could play those games! The video game industry was one of the few that benefited from this year. Full disclosure on this list, I couldn't get my hands on either of the next generation consoles but I did get to play a lot on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, and Google Stadia. Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This month we had lots of new adventures to go on including a game, some travel destinations, a movie, and a bunch of albums! So as you know, I've been traveling and due to that I did not have access to my PS4 so no Ghosts of Tsushima on this list but it will be on the end of the year Top 10 lists for sure! So with all of that out of the way, let's get into the Top 8 Adventures of July! 8. Paper Mario: The Origami King This game was very intriguing to me. I've never played any of the other Paper Mario games but I was aware of what they were. I love the design of the game and the battle system but I just felt no reward or joy in playing through the game. Like once you won a battle you just got more coins and I had a bunch of coins. Well it's been a big week for adventures and I would love to talk about all of it but unfortunately I've been suffering from a sore throat all week.
