  Welcome back to Thrak Attack, what's your adventure? Today's adventure takes us on an adventure around the world with an iconic video game character Nathan Drake from the Uncharted video game series. The series is fantastic and proves it by having 4 entries in the main series and some spin offs. Does this film do it justice? We shall find out. First off all, the opening Playstation movie logo got me excited for more Playstation movies! I am currently playing through Horizon Forbidden West and would love to see Alloy on the big screen! But then the movie starts...in a scene that takes place 3/4th's through the movie that immediately cuts back to the beginning of the story. I understand that that is the most famous scene from the Uncharted games and that the director wanted to grab the audience from the start but that was not the way to get my attention.   Welcome back to Thrak Attack, what's your adventure? Today's adventure takes us to the amazon rainforest on a quest for a crystal to change humans into monsters and monsters into humans. In the 4th installment of this weirdly long running series that is the plot! Does it make sense? Is it enjoyable to watch? Are there some redeeming qualities to this series that went from theater releases to straight to streaming? We shall see. Like I said before this is the fourth installment to the Hotel Transylvania series and I did not realize it was successful enough to make a fourth one. However, the first three were theatrical releases and this time around it was released only on Amazon Prime. This week's adventures took us to the theater twice with 2 new movies Joker and Gemini Man, 3 new trailers with Jungle Cruise, Birds of Prey, and Onward and a new video game for PS4 called Concrete Genie. Before we get into the reviews though, let's go over some of the news that came up this week! NEWS! -The Disney Skyliner broke down leaving guests stranded in the air for hours. The system has since closed and no word on when it will reopen. -Ginger Baker, legendary drummer of Cream, passes away at the age of 80. -Disney announces there will be a Moana 2... of course, it's the era of sequels and remakes -Pokemon officially reveal Galarian Ponyta after it's tease during the 24 hour live stream. It is a psychic type unicorn Pokemon that will be a Shield exclusive. -Sony has officially revealed what the PS5 will look like and it looks.... interesting. TRAILERS! There's also one bit of news and a trailer to talk about, so let's get started! NEWS! -Spider-Man will be returning to the MCU! Disney and Sony finally made a deal! But part 2 of this news is that Kevin Feige will be moving to start work on a Star Wars project. TRAILERS Frozen 2 looks like a great sequel to a great story. The first one reached global success and is one of the most successful animated films of all time! The next one seems like a logical next step for the story and characters. I am very excited to see where this movie takes us and the struggles these characters go through next. REVIEWS! Downton Abbey is the film that will wrap up the story of the 6 season TV show. Welcome back to Thrak Attack! We're closing out the year with our last regular post of 2018. We are getting into Top 10's of 2018 territory and I also still have one more movie to review. NEWS! -The first look at the Sonic the Hedgehog film looks horrendous and I can't wait shovel popcorn into my mouth as I watch this terrible film! -The 7 new Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees have been announced and include The Cure, Def Leppard, Janet Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Radiohead, Roxy Music, and The Zombies.
