Thrak Attack

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What’s your adventure? This week’s adventure takes many places! All of the major golf courses in the United States, Disney studios in the early 1990’s, a mall in Tacoma, Washington, Dreamland, Southern California, Lake Pleasant, and more! With all of that out of the way! Let’s see the top 7 for the month!  7. PGA 2k21 could be a great pro golf game. The controls are tight and clean and the presentation is fantastic. But the UI and menus for the game is clunky and don’t make any sense, since it’s always connected to the internet it was slow and kept disconnecting, and I can’t seem to figure out how to change my outfit for a tournament. It’s insane how much that pisses me off!    6. Howard is a heart wrenching story about an amazing person. The man that brought us the music of The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast along with the Little Shop of Horrors and the story of his life. It was very dry at times but very informati...

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This month we had lots of new adventures to go on including a game, some travel destinations, a movie, and a bunch of albums! So as you know, I've been traveling and due to that I did not have access to my PS4 so no Ghosts of Tsushima on this list but it will be on the end of the year Top 10 lists for sure! So with all of that out of the way, let's get into the Top 8 Adventures of July! 8. Paper Mario: The Origami King This game was very intriguing to me. I've never played any of the other Paper Mario games but I was aware of what they were. I love the design of the game and the battle system but I just felt no reward or joy in playing through the game. Like once you won a battle you just got more coins and I had a bunch of coins. I just felt like there was no weight to this game and didn't care enough about it to push through the rest of the story. It's only on here because this month was a little slow. 7. ...

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What’s your adventure? This month’s adventures took us to 2 destinations, many an album, an awful music, and some solid video games! Just so your aware, I am traveling for the summer (and being safe and social distancing) and am informing you that I am well aware that Last of Us Part 2 is the best adventure of the month but I do not have my PS4 at this moment so it will have to wait until the end of the year to make it’s way to the Top 10 Video Games of the year! With all of that out of the way, let’s get started! Top 10 of the month! 10. Artemis Fowl      I was very excited for this movie to release last year and after it’s 3rd release date and push to Disney+ release I knew it was going to be awful but not THAT awful. It’s possibly one of the worst movie I have ever seen and I’m glad I didn’t pay to see it in theaters! It’s clunky, the actors don’t care, and the stories are so misguided that I had no idea what actually happened in the f...

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What’s your adventure? This week’s adventure features a ranking of all of the adventures in the month of May. This month held 3 video games, 6 albums, and 3 travel destinations. This season, each month gets a top 10 list (if applicable, and because of the mountain of new music released this month it’ll diffidently be a full list) so if something isn’t fully reviewed it’s because its either not good or not worth mentioning. So with all of that out of the way, let’s get right into things on this aMAYzing month! 10. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition This game is on the list because it’s such an awesome game I had to put it on even after it’s third port. First released on the Wii in 2011, ported to the 3DS (the first time I played the game), and making it’s final home on the switch (hopefully) this game has seen massive success. And with good reason! It’s a massive game with great gameplay, characters, visuals, world building, music, and story a...
