S1 Ep. 48- Frozen 2

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This week's adventure took us back to Arendelle and beyond! Frozen 2 was a fantastic sequel that built on the lore and world of that story with an impactful story. Although it was clearly a tacked on story and afterthought, they did an awesome job continuing the story. The music was great, the characters were great, and the visuals were fantastic. I don't often see 3D movies but this one was well worth it!

I really don't have a lot to say about this movie except that's really good but it also leaves a lot to be desired. Like some plot points that were not answered correctly or some recurring jokes that just didn't land.

My favorite concept from this film has been the dynamic between Anna and Elsa. Elsa has powers but always seems to cause the issues rather than solve them. Anna has no powers but has the power to fix all of the problems. It's really great lesson and moral to the story!

We are well into the era of Disney sequels (Frozen 2 and Ralph Breaks the Internet are just the beginning) but this one actually gives me promise for the future of the studio. This movie will be going onto the ultimate shelf just like the original.

Next week we'll be winding down and starting to look at the end of the year Top 10 lists. There's still one more piece of content has to offer and it's a big one from a galaxy far, far away!

S2 Ep. 4- April Showers Bring More Adventures

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This month's adventures take us to a bunch of places including AWOLNATION, Bumblebee, Midgar, and Camp Verde. It's been a pretty solid month with some pretty solid adventures! Let's see which one tops the list and which ones fall flat! 8. "Fetch the Bolt Cutters" by Fiona Apple This album is not at all what I expected it to be at all. I really liked Fiona Apple's older hits but I never actually dove into her discography past that. I didn't really know what I was jumping into and what I heard was not my favorite. The lyrics are cool, some of the piano work is really good but the songs are just strange and that's not really my vibe in music tastes. The songs that stick out on this one are "Shameika" and "Under the Table" but other than that it's just an odd album which isn't my thing. 7. Pokemon Cinematic Universe

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This week's adventure was Detective Pikachu which is an awesome live action Pokemon Movie but not the Pokemon we were expecting. Even though this movie was really well done, I believe there in the future for us in regards to another cinematic universe. The way they handled this film and the references in it are perfectly done and do set up a future for this for happening.
