Top 10 Shows of 2022

10.  Rings of Power on Amazon Prime is a great prequel series that has a lot to do in the years to come but the problem is it's still a lord of the rings show. And as you may know I cannot stand the Lord of the Rings. I couldn't care less about it! Regardless, this show was pretty solid!

9. Ms. Marvel on Disney+ is half amazing and half terrible mess. The amazing part is the representation and historical significance in the story, the messy part is the finale school scene and the unnecessary love interests. The final product was a solid show that promises a lot in the future!

8. She-Hulk: Attorney At Law on Disney+ is another MCU show that pushes the boundaries of what the MCU actually is. It pokes fun of itself and is self aware which sometimes helps it and sometimes hurts it. This time around it's alright to have poor writing because Jennifer Walters can just make fun of it and it'll be alright. But in all honesty they knew what they were doing with this show and it promises much more to come in the next phase of the MCU.

7. Obi Wan Kenobi is a Disney+ series that takes place in between episodes III and IV of the Star Wars Saga and fills in the gap of the story for the arguably the most important character in the franchise. With great performances from both Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christianson this show is only dampened by some poor writing and action scenes. Why have a little girl who can't act and run have 3 running scenes in the show? Come on guys!

6. Under the Banner of Heaven is an FX original series that my wife got really into. I will admit that I have not watched the entire season but what I watched was very well done. Also, go Andrew Garflied for crushing another great role!

5. Peacemaker on HBO Max is one of the best things to come out of the DCEU. Unfortunately I think the possibility of a season 2 seems pretty unlikely with the state of thing and that sure is a shame because this show is bonkers and fantastic. I didn't buy John Cena as an actor until I saw this series! So much fun!

4. Moon Knight is another MCU series on Disney+ and it is the best one this year! Oscar Isaac does a great job in his multiple roles and the supporting cast keeps it fresh and interesting. The only problem with this show is that there was not enough Moon Knight!

3. Bridgerton on Netflix is on it's second season and this one is much less sexual than the last but uses it to it's advantage. Having so much tension leading up to the climax of the season leaves me wanting more Bridgerton to see what will happen with these characters! Who will be the diamond of the season in season 3?

2. Andor is the greatest show that no one is talking about. The Star Wars Disney+ Series does not rely on lightsabers or destiny but instead relies on fantastic writing, pacing, and characters. The title character was a lead in the film Rogue One and this series is the rest of his story. Built on 3 main sub-stories that make up the entire first season it feels like 3 complete movies and is the second best Star Wars trilogy ever.

1. House of the Dragon is prequel to Game of Thrones on HBO Max and is the story of the Targaryens of Westeros. This show features many blonde hair characters that are all related but a more focused story than Game of Thrones. A lot of time jumps and lots of setup the climax of the story that sets up the next couple of seasons of action and drama.

El Deafo

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This week's adventure takes into the world of Cece Bell's graphic novel turned into an Apple TV+ series titled "El Deafo". It is a semi autobiographical tale of her early life and dealing with her struggles of being deaf. The series also features original music from Waxahatchee a very underrated artist in my opinion! So let's get started on our review and head to Virginia to meet Cece Bell in "El Deafo" First off I would like to say the character designs are super cute and enjoyable to watch. I love the design of the rabbits and the clean lines of the show are very pleasant to look at. The tone of the show is very colorful yet muted and pastel which I really enjoy.  Now I won't give away the plot but as you can guess from the title and the poster that this is the story of how Cece lost her hearing. It is great to see a story for children addressing this topic for them to understand the issue

POKEMON SWORD AND SHIELD LEAKS!!!

WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD DO NO READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT SPOILERS! Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This week's adventure is not a traditional adventure. In 2 weeks Pokemon Sword and Shield will be releasing on Nintendo Switch and we got almost every new Pokemon leaked this week! Here's how this will go, I will talk little bit about my thoughts on each line and at the end tell you what my first run through team will be. Let's get started! Grookey, Thwackey, and Rilaboom is the pure grass starter line. it's a great line but I don't like the middle evolution's coloring. It's like green, bright green, and then brown? It just seems odd but I love the idea of the drummer gorilla! Scorbunny, Raboot, and Cinderace is the pure fire starter line. It's not the best line because I don't like the clothes The Pokemon are wearing in their designs. Maybe it'll look better in motions but It's not my favorite. Sobble, Drizzle,

Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? Today's adventure takes us deep into the walls and underneath the ground to the land of Fraggle Rock. But this isn't the first time we've been here, we remember this place from long ago and it's time to go back. A reboot of a series that ended in 1987 is just what Apple TV+ needs right? Let's find out! Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock has 13 episodes in it's first season and it's just as charming as you remember. The muppets look as good as ever, the characters a charming, and the world building in this show is actually quite good! Each episode has a fun adventure with a pretty solid through line of exploring "outer space" which is just our world. There are some pretty great jokes that go along with this too. In the pilot episode one of the characters gets attacked by a dog, when telling his friends about it he says "I was attacked by the most vicious space monster" and it cuts to t
