Thrak Attack

Welcome back to Thrak Attack, what's your adventure? This month took us to many places all around the galaxy in many different ways. Every aspect of Thrak Attack had something to do with space. Coldplay's new album is titled "Music of the Spheres", we went to Arrakis in Dune, and traveled to many different planets in Guardians of the Galaxy! So here is the top ten adventures for the month of October! 10. Nickelodeon All Star Brawl for the Playstation 5 is a Super Smash Bros clone that is even more zany and whacky. The roster is great to see some classic nickelodeon characters from all sorts of shows. From classic cartoons like Rugrats and Red and Stimpy, to action shows like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Avatar: The Last Airbender, to some newer shows like Danny Phantom and the Loud House. Even though the game isn't the next generation game that we are looking for, its still super fun to play! 9. Dune is the next epic movie trilogy that people think we need...

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This month was a great one for adventures with lots of new music, TV shows, and a few extra things. I did get a Playstation 5, thanks to my amazing fiancé so I have been catching up with some older games (Bugsnax, Sackboy: a Big Adventure, Astro's Playroom, and most importantly Ratchet and Clank: A Rift Apart) so my video game list has been a little short but here are my adventures in September! 10. Skatebird is a wonderfully charming skateboarding game that feels like a hot wheels racing game mixed with Tony Hawk Pro Skater. Unfortunately the controls in this game don't make a whole lot of sense and I the mechanics are too unpolished to make it enjoyable to play. 9. Eastward is the game I began to play, after being disappointed in Skatebird but then I was surprised with my Playstation 5. The hour or two that I played were fantastic though and I had a really nice time with it. I have a flight to Chicago this weekend so ...

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This month held so many great adventures in the likes of games, TV shows, movies, and music! Some of the best of the year in fact and some that will be making it onto my final "Top 10 of 2021" lists! So is that enough to entice you? Here are the top 10 adventures of August 2021! 10. The Suicide Squad is a weird movie for many reasons. It's weird because it's a completely separate movie from the 2016 Suicide Squad film. It's weird because 3 of the same actors play the same characters in this film as they did in the 2016 version. It's weird because there are multiple D list marvel characters as the leads of this film. It's weird because James Gunn is the director. And it's weird because in the finale they fight and giant starfish.  9. Axiom Verge 2 is a fine game... but it's just not my style. Which is weird because I absolutely love Metroid Games (Metroid Fusion being my favorite and I canno...

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This month took us to a bunch of different musical landscapes, 2 movies AT the theater, and some new and returning TV shows. Also full disclosure, I am meaning to see "The Green Knight" with Dev Patel but haven't gotten around to it due to both that and Jungle Cruise releasing the last weekend of the month. So it won't be reflected on this list but it may be reflected at the end of the year Top 10 lists! So with all of that out of the way let's jump right into our Top 10 adventures in the month of July! 10. "Gold Diggers Sound" by Leon Bridges is a fine album. He is such a talented and timeless artist that I can't help but enjoy this album but this time around, a little bit of the shine has worn off. After hearing "River" and "Beyond" these tracks are a little bit stale. The standout tracks on this album are "Magnolias", "Motorbike", and "Details...

Welcome back to Thrak Attack, what's your adventure? This month took us to some pretty weird places such as the TVA, the mushroom kingdom, a garage for game building, Washington Heights, and the Nowhere Generation. Here is the top 10 adventures we went on in June! 10. The Bad Batch is a solid show on Disney+ that struggles to know who it's audience is. The more I watch the more I dislike it and the more I want to punch Omega right in the teeth. The dark tones clash with the child friendly plots and it just doesn't work after 10 episodes in. 9. "Nowhere Generation" by Rise Against is not a great album... but the title track is killer! You can really tell when listening that song is where most of their energy went for this album. They lyrics are mesmerizing and keep you intrigued and the chorus is a wordy anthem that makes you want to listen again and again. It is contender for song of the year, however the album is not.  8. "Back of My Mind" by H.E.R ....
