S1 Ep. 8- Dream Academy

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This week's adventures includes 2 new trailers, a review of Netflix's new show The Umbrella Academy, and Dream Theater's new album "Distance Over Time". This is the first episode on the new schedule, all episodes of Thrak Attack (blog, podcast, and video) will be up every Sunday to start your week off with an adventure. So with all of that out of the way, let's get into some news. NEWS! -The Punisher and Jessica Jones have been cancelled by Netflix. Good. I've disliked a majority of those seasons they are just too long and drawn out. Hopefully we get a season 2 of the Defenders though to wrap everything up. -Batman and the Ninja Turtles are getting their own cartoon movie crossover and the 12 year old in me is going bananas! Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This is a blog update post getting you the information of the schedule change. I have done a few of these in the past and we are still figuring out what works for the blog and what doesn't, so we're trying something new for the blog, videos, and podcasts. So here's the new weekly schedule for Thrak Attack... S1 Ep 7- Alita: Battle Angel

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? We had lot of mini adventures due to 3 trailers for upcoming films releasing this week. Also there was a Nintendo Direct but since there was a lot of info for that it made it to it's own episode (S1 Ep. 6.5, if you wanna check it out). So we will have some news, 3 new trailer reviews, a review of "Head Above Water" by Avril Lavigne, and the first big movie of 2019 Alita: Battle Angel. With all of that out of the way, let's get started! NEWS! -Hulu is jumping on the Marvel train with 4 new animated series including Dazzler and Tigra, M.O.D.O.K., Hit Money, and of course Howard the Duck. -Mastadon and Coheed and Cambria announced a tour together this summer but I will not be able to go to either show. They will be in Phoenix when I'm in Philly and vice versa. -Pokemon Go gets a Valentines Day event featuring all of the pink Pokemon (and there are a lot of them). S1 Ep. 6.5- Nintendo Direct

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? On Episode 6 we talked about my trip to Sedona and Ariana Grande's new album "thank u, next" but we just got a bunch of video game news from Nintendo in the form of a Direct. So instead of doing a standard Thumbstick Thursday this is an extra post featuring all of the news from the Nintendo Direct. Super Mario Maker 2 is a long awaited sequel to the game changing game which allows you to create your own Super Mario map in any style. It's going to be another huge hit for the switch and is going to please just about everyone. Super Mario Maker 2 is going to hit shelves in June 2019. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is getting a Version 3.0 update that will hopefully fix some balance issues and will also get a new character. The first official DLC character Joker from Persona 5; AND will be getting some new pokemon trainer, Solid Snake, and Simon Belmont amiibo's. Boxboy + Boxgirl will be launching on swit

S1 Ep. 6- Sedona

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This week had a lot of actual adventures. We hiked up Camelback Mountain, went to 2 hiking trails in Sedona, and attempted to go through Tonto Natural Bridge. All of that, plus a soundtrack to the weekend by Ariana Grande but before we get to that, let's go through some news! NEWS! -2 new games have been added to Nintendo Switch Online including Super Mario Bros. 2 and Kirby's Adventure. -Xbox Live is now Live on Nintendo Switch for some reason. -The Mariachi Coco Celebration in California Adventure is coming to EPCOT's Mexico pavillion in the spring to start the integration of that IP into that section of the park. -Oreo the raccoon, the inspiration and model for Rocket the Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy, sadly passed away this week. -Wicked is getting it's own movie in 2021. S1 Ep 5- The Superb Owl

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? There was a lot going on this week including some new music from American Authors, a new video game that everyone's been talking about Kingdom Hearts 3, and I saw a Superb Owl fly over me while driving home from Prescott, AZ. But with all of that out of the way, let's get through some news, shall we? NEWS! -Spider-Man on PS4 received 2 new suits this week which is great that that game is getting more content. It was my game of the year of 2018 so I love seeing it keep growing. -Piranha Plant was finally released for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and it's an interesting edition to the roster. There will still be 5 more fighters available for the game over the next few years. -"The Batman" will officially release in 2021 and will NOT feature Ben Affleck as the world's greatest detective. Get it together DC! -James Gunn will not be directing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but will be directing Suicide S

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? Well, we made it through the first month of 2019 and you know what it's time for? TOP 3! These are my Top 3 things I reviewed in January 2019. I will make a list of all of the adventures and will mark the ones that were actually from the end of 2018, they don't count, and then write a top 3 list!
