S1 Ep. 26- Super Mario Maker 2

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? On this week's adventure we traveled to the far off land of the Mushroom Kingdom! Unfortunately, the mushroom kingdom is in a bit of disarray, the castle has been demolished and Mario needs to rebuild it! Super Mario Maker 2 is a wonderful game with a great premise. For almost 40 years we've been playing levels designed by the team at Nintendo. Now, you can build your own levels. I know this is the second game in the series but really its just the definitive edition of the game AND it's on Switch.

So here's the premise of the game... Build your own Super Mario levels in 5 different game styles, play those levels with friends, and share those levels online. Hours of entertainment, online features such as challenges, co-op course, and builder rankings, and even a tiny story mode to get you in the mindset of building courses and the unique things you can build.

This game is essentially minecraft meets Mario, you can literally build whatever you want and be as creative as you like. It's such a simple game idea and such a clean execution. I know it's a short episode this week but I don't really have much else to say about this near perfect game. It's such a glorious and simple idea that of course this is going on my ultimate shelf! It's already downloaded on the switch and will be staying there for hours of fun through the ages of the Nintendo Switch!

  Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This adventure takes us to many genres of music covered by Cat Power! From Iggy Pop to Lana Del Rey to Billie Holiday, this album takes to many genres but somehow feels stale through Cat Power's style.  I knew this was a cover album and was excited to hear all the different songs sung in a new style. Unfortunately these songs are more than just the surface songs and singles. These are lesser known songs from big artists. I loved trying to guess who's song it was and then looking it up afterwards. Even though the artists she covers are from all sorts of genres this album is such a drag to listen to. The 12 songs slog on for 43 minutes and never feel like it's going anywhere. It's like she took the personality from the different artists but not any of the passion. I felt very bored listening to the songs. POKEMON SWORD AND SHIELD LEAKS!!!

WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD DO NO READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT SPOILERS! Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This week's adventure is not a traditional adventure. In 2 weeks Pokemon Sword and Shield will be releasing on Nintendo Switch and we got almost every new Pokemon leaked this week! Here's how this will go, I will talk little bit about my thoughts on each line and at the end tell you what my first run through team will be. Let's get started! Grookey, Thwackey, and Rilaboom is the pure grass starter line. it's a great line but I don't like the middle evolution's coloring. It's like green, bright green, and then brown? It just seems odd but I love the idea of the drummer gorilla! Scorbunny, Raboot, and Cinderace is the pure fire starter line. Hotel Transylvania 4: Transformania

  Welcome back to Thrak Attack, what's your adventure? Today's adventure takes us to the amazon rainforest on a quest for a crystal to change humans into monsters and monsters into humans. In the 4th installment of this weirdly long running series that is the plot! Does it make sense? Is it enjoyable to watch? Are there some redeeming qualities to this series that went from theater releases to straight to streaming? We shall see. Like I said before this is the fourth installment to the Hotel Transylvania series and I did not realize it was successful enough to make a fourth one. However, the first three were theatrical releases and this time around it was released only on Amazon Prime.
