S1 Ep. 30- Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This is the final summer post and after this we'll be back to normal schedule. After the review I will let you know what that means but first let's talk about the latest game I've been playing... Fire Emblem: Three Houses Full disclosure, the only thing I know about Fire Emblem is whatever is in Super Smash Bros. So going into this game I knew nothing about the series. Luckily, I didn't feel like I needed to which was super refreshing! Fire Emblem has been a HUGE series in Japan since 1990 and has only made it big in the states over the past few years with the titles on the 3DS.  Now we have our first Fire Emblem title for the Nintendo Switch. This is not the first time on a home console but I feel like Fire Emblem lends itself to being played on the go but the Switch is perfect for it because the series has jumped back and forth between handhelds and home consoles. This game is an experience though and

S1 Ep 29- The Sum of Marvel's Ultimate Alliance

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This week's adventure took me to a new album by Sum 41 titled "Order in Decline" and Marvel's Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order for the Nintendo Switch. Also, sorry for the delay in the post it's been crazy the past week but we're almost back to normal life which means a blog post every week on Sunday, videos every week, and a monthly podcast! It's going to be great! We also have some big Marvel news to discuss! So let's get into it! "Order in Decline" by Sum 41 The band's 7th studio album and it shows. When listening to this album I consistently thought "Yup, this is Sum 41" but that was about the extent of what I thought. I listened to this album on Thursday and I couldn't really tell you what I remembered about it but that should tell you enough about the album. I did add some songs to the playlist for 2019 from the album including songs like "Heads Will

S1 Ep. 28- Dr. Flay

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This week I listened to the new album by K. Flay titled "Solutions" and played a bit of Doctor Mario World for iOS. So my laptop is about to die so let's get this train moving! Doctor Mario World is the first mobile Doctor Mario game ever and I gotta question why? That game was essentially made for a mobile device. I've been playing the original on my Switch (which is honestly the best reason to get Nintendo Switch Online) but now I also have it on my phone. My initial issue with it is the game  style is a little different, you have to click and drag the pills to place them, not dropping from the top. At first I didn't like this but the more I got used to it the more I liked it. There's a lot more creative maneuvers you can do with this game style. There are also bombs that blow up spaces around them, frozen viruses that need to be destroyed twice, hidden coins and invisible viruses, and special pills

S1 Ep. 27- The Black Keys

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? Well it's that time of year again! The time when Jack White puts out an album and a few weeks later The Black Keys do as well to piss Jack off. "Help Us Stranger" came out two weeks ago and this week's review is for "Lets Rock" by the Black Keys. No news this week, summer blog posts are always tough to do so I like make it short sweet and to the point, so let's get rocking! "Lets Rock" by the Black Keys is the band's 9th studio album and it shows. It shows the boredom the band has accrued from performing the same style and the same type of music for almost 20 years now. I really like the ideas of some of the songs such as "Shine A Little Light", "Walk Across the Water", and "Sit Around and Miss You"; but even though these songs are wonderfully written they are not well performed on the album. The vocals sound jaded and bored even on the heavy hitting
