S2 Finale- Top 10 Songs of 2020

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This year brought us a ton of music and great albums but sometimes a specific song transcends the album that it's on and sometimes artists release singles. So this is the list celebrating those gems on mediocre albums and singles artists have released throughout the year! Top 10 Songs of 2020 10. "When You Get That Feeling" by Nate Bo is a debut song from one of my good friends. It's a solid jam with an R&B vibe and wicked vibraphone solo. I used to play music with Nate in college and I'm glad to see him with a successful first song! I can't wait to see what's next for Nate in his career! 9. "Twice Your Size" by Declan McKenna is off his sophomore album titled "Zeros". Although the album suffered from production issues that muddied up the brilliant lyrics, this is the few songs that didn't suffer from that. The energy that this song brings to the table is exactly what t

S2 Finale- Top 10 Albums of 2020

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? Even though lots of things changed this year and lots of albums were delayed we still received tons of great music! It was fantastic to see the way musicians would continue to create, perform, and share their art with the world during this crazy year! So here is my Top 10 Albums of 2020. 10. "The Juice" by G. Love is a grammy nominated album from one of my favorite artists. I enjoyed this album and it was one of the first big releases of the year. Even though I am happy to hear this artist is finally nominated for a Grammy, this is not his best album. 9. "CMFT" by Corey Taylor is a strong showing of what metal artist can do with southern rock. We all know what Corey Taylor sounds like in Slipknot and Stone Sour but this is what Corey wants to be doing and it does not disappoint!  8. "A Beautiful Place to Drown" by Silverstein features one of the best album covers of the year and shows that punk r

S2 Finale- Top 10 Video Games of 2020

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure! Well we made it through 2020 and one of the best aspects this year was the amount of video games that were released, and the amount of time I could play those games! The video game industry was one of the few that benefited from this year. Full disclosure on this list, I couldn't get my hands on either of the next generation consoles but I did get to play a lot on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, and Google Stadia. I will also not be including any rereleases (sorry Pikmin 3, Super Mario 3D All-Stars, Persona 5 Royal, and Xenoblade Chronicles) So without anymore rambling, here are my Top 10 Video Games of 2020 10. Watchdogs: Legions (Stadia) is a great concept that didn't deliver. I love the beginning of the story and I love where the story went but something stopped me from enjoying the game from having an entire city to explore and the chance to recruit anyone but it doesn't take long to realize that it's the sa

S2 Finale- Top 10 Movies of 2020

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? Well, we made it to the end of 2020. Lots of changes this year and lots of delayed releases but we made it through! You know what that means, it's time for the Top 10 lists of the year! Full disclosure. I missed some movies (Tenet, Monster Hunter, Wonder Woman 1984)  but I feel like other than that I have a pretty comprehensive list of the year! Each one will have a small picture and a little blurb about why I liked them. So here we go, the top 10 Movies of 2020! Top 10 Movies 10. Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga is a fun and charming Netflix film starring Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams that features great characters, scenery, and music. The cast was fantastic and "Ja Ja Ding Dong" is the best song from a movie this year! 9. Wolfwalkers is a beautifully animated film on Apple TV+ deep into Irish mythology and deep allegories. Themes of embracing change, religion, and what it means to be in a cage

S2 Ep. 12- December

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This month brought only a few adventures but they were some big ones! It's the last month of the year so this will be the last episode until next Thursday's Top 10 of the year! Get ready for it! But we have to log these last few adventures before we do! So here we go, December! Top 5 of December! 5. Godmothered on Disney+ is a cheesy movie that takes a spin on the magical movie genre. It's a good premise for a fun movie but it was not a good execution. I think the cast was good and plot was decent but the film just didn't go anywhere. 4. Cyberpunk 2077 had a rough launch. I heard a lot of issues that were happening but I didn't experience them, or so I thought. I was only about 2 hours into the game and was it was going fine until I was having trouble getting through a simple section of the game and it was taking 5 head shots to take down an enemy. I don't know if its the bugs or if it's me being te
