S3 Finale: Top 10 Shows of 2021

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This year I added a new category to Thrak Attack's lineups of adventures. I've never been a big TV show follower but I felt like with the MCU adding TV shows and access to some new streaming services to my roster over quarantine that it was time to add those adventures in! So here is a Thrak Attack first, The Top 10 Shows of 2021! 10. Hawkeye on Disney+  is not a great mini series but has some great character introductions and moments for the MCU. Most importantly introducing Kate Bishop who will hopefully take up the mantle of Hawkeye, Yelena reconciling with Clint about Natasha's death in Endgame, and the reintroduction of a character from the Netflix Marvel shows!   9. The Shrink Next Door on Apple TV+ was a short and sweet show based on a podcast which is an interesting transition. Both Paul Rudd and Will Ferrel shine in this show showcasing both of their acting chops. The plot is pretty simple but is compelling

S3 Finale: Top 10 Songs of 2021

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This year had some of the of the most consistent year in music in recent years! Lots of albums and singles throughout the year and some of the biggest releases in recent years as well! Here are the Top 10 Best Songs of 2021.  10. "Misfit" by April Keez is the first single off of her album "Mountainview" it started off the best albums list and the year so this song will start off the Top 10 Songs list. It's catchy, poppy, and a little bit of edginess!    9. "EPMD 2" by Nas feat. EPMD & Eminem has some of bed rap I've heard in a while. Nas is one of my favorite rappers and his collaborations with EPMD are always awesome! This time Eminem shares with us one of my favorite rap verses ever with one of the most unique yet repetitive flows I've ever heard.   8. "Making a Fire" by Foo Fighters is the best song off of their disco album with a fantastic groove and a full sound th

S3 Finale: Top 10 Albums of 2021

Welcome back to Thrak Attack, what's your adventure? The pandemic hit a lot of people a lot of different ways and I knew this year would bring a lot of great music! But I did not expect this year to be this good of a year for music! This has been the hardest list to make so far and I had to kick off some heavy hitters like Foo Fighters, Coldplay, and Adele! So let's get to it! Here are the Top 10 Albums of 2021! 10. "Mountainview" by April Keez was the first album to be released in 2021 that I listened to and is still on the list. Now I am a little biased because I know April and she's a very dear friend but it does not discredit how great this album is! The songwriting and lyrics she has on this album are top notch! Her vocal prowess is top notch! and the aesthetic of the album is a perfect way to start of the year and the list!  9. "Exodus" by DMX is the only hip hop album on this list and is one of the most important hip hop albums of all time. DMX

S3 Finale- Top 10 Video Games of 2021

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? This year has been a wild year and there have been some wild video game releases in both hardware and software! This year I played games on Nintendo Switch, Apple Arcade, Google Stadia and the Playstation 5! Here are the Top 10 Games of 2021 10. Cyber Shadow was a January release on the Switch and started the year off with a bang! The lack of a story in this game did not bother me because the gameplay felt so good and the controls were so smooth. I loved the challenging bosses, the classic music and the 16 bit feel of this game! 9. FantAsian on Apple Arcade blew me away and changed my perception of what a mobile game could be! I couldn't believe how good this game looked on my iPad Pro and how well the game controlled. The story and world were inventive and the turn based gameplay was a perfect balance of challenge without the usual grind of a JRPG. If this game was on any other platform it would not have made this list bu

S3 Finale- Top 10 Movies of 2021

Welcome back to Thrak Attack! What's your adventure? We finally made it to the end of 2021 and what a crazy year it was! The return to the movie theater was a highlight of the year and there were some great movies to be seen! Here are the Top 10 movies of the year with a little review of each! 10. The United States vs. Billie Holiday was the first good movie of the year, only because January is a dumping ground for horrible movies (I'm looking at you "Music"). This movie had a great soundtrack, message, and acting. It also was an important movie to bring awareness to what this historic musician did for music and the African American community.    9.   Cruella was the first movie I saw in theaters after the pandemic so it has a special place in my heart. It was not the best film and I was a little wary of it being a sequel that glorified a puppy murderer but it was a solid film. The cast was fantastic and the soundtrack was great but the best part of the film was o
